Kerala 10 Nights & 11 Days - ( Itinerary Highlights )
Kochi, Thekkady, Kumarakom, Alleppey, Kovalam & Trivandrum
Starting Point: Kochi Ending Point: Trivandrum
 
Day 01: Kochi
Arrival at the airport and transfer to Kochi, Check into the hotel. Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as 'God's Own Country'. Informally, Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala. Sightseeing attractions include Fort Cochin Beach, Mattancherry Palace, Wellington Island, Chinese Fishing Net, Jewish Synagogue, overnight stay at the hotel in Kochi.
Day 02: Kochi - Thekkady (130 km-4 hrs)
Check out after breakfast and proceed to Thekkady, check in at the resort in Thekkady, Rest of the day is at Leisure, Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.
Day 03: Thekkady
After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed to the wildlife sanctuary at Periyar/Thekkady. Check in at the hotel/resort. Go on an evening game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc, and quite a lot of unique birds can also be spotted. Later, come back to the hotel; relax & enjoy your stay overnight stay at Thekkady.
Day 04: Thekkady Kumarakom
Check out at after breakfast & proceed to Kumarakom, The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake, and is part of the Kuttanad region, check in at the resort in kumarakom, rest of the day is at Leisure at the backwater resort for Ayurvedic massage, Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.
Day 05: Kumarakom
Full day is at Leisure at the backwater resort, day is free for Ayurvedic massages and inhouse facilities, Dinner and Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 06: Kumarakom
Full day is at Leisure at the resort, day is free for Ayurvedic massages and inhouse facilities
Day 07: Kumarakom Alleppey 1 hour by car
Check out at 10 00 clock and proceed to Alleppey. Check in at the houseboat. Enjoy the magic of backwaters by going on a Houseboat (Kettuvallam) cruise across the backwaters. Spend the next 22 hours in your floating villa, get a glimpse of the village life at close quarters; a unique and unforgettable experience. Enjoy the sunset & stay overnight on the houseboat.
Day 08: Alleppey
Full day is at Leisure at the houseboat,visit QST R block Kayal in Kuttanad, called the rice bowl of Kerala because of her wealth of paddy crops,is at the very heart of the backwaters. The scenic countryside of Kuttanad with its shimmering waterways also has a rich crop of banana, cassava and yam.This is perhaps the only region in the world where farming is done 1.5 to 2 m below sea level. Inland waterways which flow above land level are an amazing feature of this region
Day 09: Alleppey Kovalam
Check out at 10 00 hours and proceed to Kovalam (185 kms). Check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10: Kovalam
After breakfast, full day is at leisure at the beach resort, Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.
Day 11: Kovalam Trivandrum (20 Kms)
Check out at 12 00 noon and proceed to Trivandrum. You will be transferred to the railway station for the return journey. Tour Ends.
